what to write in a Valentine's Day card?

I like to do something together on Valentine’s Day. For example going out for dinner and spending a romantic evening together in a cozy atmosphere. In addition I like to give a small gift. For example a greeting card, that I made by myself. I feel a handmade gift like greeting cards have a deeper meaning, because you have put time and effort into making something personal for your loved one. It is also nice to put some words on paper instead of speaking them out loud. There is a different feel to it. Plus your loved one can take a look at the card later again and cherish it.
