Lately I’ve been taking a close look at my craft equipment & space. Is everything OK the way it is, do I need to store things differently and perhaps buy something new?

Desk layout

My desk layout has changed a bit. It’s more calm now. I bought a plastic transparent folder, a large pillow and two decorative white porcelain houses (of which one has been gold-dyed). And… my boyfriend got me a desk lamp (Ikea) for my birthday. You can see the before & after picture below below 😀

A bigger pencil box

I also realised my pencil box was no longer sufficient. I’ve been digging and searching for the right craft tool for quite a while now, haha. Although I’m not the ultimate craft shopper, my craft equipment collection has fairly grown over the last year. Therefore it’s time for the next step: a bigger pencil box! 😉 After searching on the web, I found the perfect solution: a toolbox.

It’s a toolbox of the brand Vitra. It’s available in 5 colors: light grey, black, brick red, mustard (not sure how to call it). I doubted between brick red and black. Brick red is colorful and black looks classy. I found brick red more inspiring, so I bought that one. To be honest, I’m not a big fan of the available colors. I prefer pastel and bright colors. But for a change, brick red isn’t that bad!

The toolbox has a handle and several boxes, which are great to sort craft equipment. The handle is very useful, because I store my craft equipment in a different place than where I craft. Sometimes I craft at the kitchen table, sometimes at my desk in the work room. And the craft equipment is stored in a cabinet in the living room.
