Flowers make your heart bloom ♥ Their beautiful colors and shapes simply put a smile on your face. This card is dedicated to flowers and their natural beauty.
You can make this card for many occassions. Such as someone’s birthday in Spring or Summer, someone who loves nature by heart or Mother’s Day. You will only need 15 minutes to make this little gem with just a few basic craft supplies.
I made this card originally for Mother’s Day. It was a great opportunity to let my mother know what she ment to me 😀 I gave her this card and a nice gift together with my siblings.

Photo tutorial
In this photo tutorial you’ll learn step by step how to create this flower card.

Step 1: Take two sheets of different colored paper and fold them in half.

Step 2: Draw a flower with 4 petals on the colored paper.

Step 3: Cut out the flower shape with scissors. You’ve got 4 flower shapes now. We will use only 3 of them. The remaining one can serve as a template if you want to make more flowers.

Step 4: Put double-sided adhesive tape or glue in the center of two flower shapes.
Then put the shapes onto each other, but first turn the middle flower shape a quarter (90 degrees).

Step 5: Fold the flower petals a bit to add more dimension.

Step 6: For the finishing touch: put a sticky rhinestone in the center of the top flower.

Step 7: Then take a sheet of green paper and fold it twice.

Step 8: Draw a half leaf shape from the fold and cut it out with scissors.

Step 9: Now you will have two leaf shapes which you need to unfold a bit.
Check if you like the leaf shape size compared to the flower shape.

Step 10: Attach the flower & leaves to the middle of a blank greeting card by using double-sided adhesive tape or glue.

Step 11: Fold the flower petals one last time to add some more dimension if you like.
Your flower card is ready now!
