Craft a glittering snowflake card for Christmas or any other Winter occasion. Crafting this card isn’t that time consuming, so you can make several for your family and friends to give them that warm winter feeling.
This is the Christmas card which I crafted last year for family and friends. I wanted to craft something nice for everyone, without spending an hour working on each card. Here’s the result: a cut out snowflake with a glittering golden background! 😀

Craft supplies
- Craft knife
- Self-healing cutting mat
- Pencil
- Graphic ruler (optional)
- Glue
- Eraser
- 1 piece of white paper
- Gold glitter wrapping paper
Instructions – step by step
Step 1: Draw a snowflake shape on a piece of white paper (it should fit on your greeting card). Or look for one on the internet and print it.
Step 2: Cut out the snowflake shape from white paper with a craft knife.
Step 3: Put the shape on the front side of the greeting card. Make sure the shape’s in the center of the card and trace it with a pencil.
Step 4: Cut out the snowflake shape with a craft knife.
Step 5: Use an eraser to remove the remaining pencil lines on the greeting card.
Step 6: Glue the back inside of the greeting card.
Step 7: Put a piece of golden wrapping paper on the back inside of the greeting card. (Do this carefully, so the paper won’t get any creases)
Step 8: Cut off the remaining wrapping paper. You could use a ruler to do it more precisely. Your Christmas card is finished now! 😉
Wow, I had no idea this card was handmade! It was so perfectly made, I assumed it was bought at a store. Great design!
