Christmas cupcake card

This beautiful cupcake has a festive Christmas touch. Who knew tiny pine trees could become edible confetti. Would you like to have a bite?

Everybody knows cupcakes. They are cute little cakes which come in all colors and sizes and are beautifully decorated. But overall they’re very sweet 😉

In this photo tutorial you’ll learn step by step how to make this Christmas wreath with ornaments card.

Step 1: Take a sheet of white paper. Fold a small piece of it. Draw a half cupcake cup shape from the fold.
Step 2: Cut out the shape with scissors and unfold it.

Step 3: Put the cupcake cup shape on the white paper. Draw a cake shape with a pencil. It should be slightly curved.
Step 4: Cut out the cake shape with scissors.

Step 5: Cut out the frosting shape from white paper. Make it a bit curvy for a playfull effect.

Step 6: Trace the cupcake cup shape with a pencil on a sheet of red paper.
Step 7: Cut out the traced shape with a craft knife or scissors. Remove visible pencil traces with an eraser.

Step 8: Trace the cake shape on a sheet of beige paper with a pencil.
Step 9: Cut out the shape with a craft knife or scissors. Remove visible pencil traces at the top of the shape with an eraser.

Step 10: Attach the cupcake cup shape and cake shape to each other by applying glue.

Step 11: Trace the frosting shape on a sheet of white paper (not print paper due to its thickness).
Step 12: Cut out the traced shape with a craft knife or scissors. Remove visible pencil traces with an eraser.

Step 13: Glue the frosting shape to the other cupcake shapes.
Step 14: Draw vertical lines with a gold gel pen on the cupcake cup shape.

Step 15: Cut out tiny pine tree shapes from a sheet of green paper.
Step 16: Carefully glue the pine tree shapes to the frosting.

Step 17: Draw decorative dots on the frosting with a red and gold gel pen.

Step 18: Punch a star from shiny gold paper.
Step 19: Attach it to the top of the frosting with glue.

Step 20: Write the text “Merry Christmas” with alphabet stamps on an acrylic block or stamp press. Then ink your stamps well with gold ink.
Step 21: Take a blue greeting card and unfold it. Stamp the text at the bottom of the card front.

Step 22: Attach foam pads to the backside of the cupcake shape. Then attach the shape to the card front. Your Christmas card is ready now.
