Photo tutorial
In this photo tutorial you’ll learn step by step how to make this Tic-Tac-Toe love card.

Step 1: Take a blank greeting card. Draw a three-by-three grid on the card front. A graphic art ruler and pencil can be used to draw dots/guidelines.
Tip: Find the center of the card by using your graphic art ruler and draw a small dot. This will be the center of your grid. Now you can draw guidelines / dots evenly from the center.
Step 2: Draw solid lines by using a fineliner or marker.

Step 3: Now it’s time to make the heart shape. Take a sheet of white paper and fold a small part of it. Cut out a heart shape from the fold. If you want, you can draw it first with a pencil.
Step 4: Unfold the heart shape and see if it fits within the grid. If you like the shape, proceed with step 5.

Step 5: Take two sheets of different colored paper, for example red and dark pink. Fold a small part of them and trace the white heart shape from the fold.
Step 6: Cut out the shapes. You would need about 7 hearts in total. 4 red hearts and 3 dark pink ones.

Step 7: Remove visible pencil traces with an eraser from the heart shapes.
Step 8: Then put double sided adhesive tape on the backside of the hearts.

Step 9: Put the hearts inside the grid. Pose them in such a way that one color wins the Tic-tac-toe game. Your card is ready now.
