Does the word Pac-Man ring a bell? Pac-Man is a classic arcade game. That’s what this greeting card is all about. Just like in the game, the ghost is being chased by Pac-Man. Pac-Man is dressed up for Halloween as a pumpkin and eats sweets on its way. A spooky, but funny Halloween!
For Halloween 2016 I wanted to create a greeting card which combines a ghost with a pumpkin. While brainstorming about it, I suddenly thought about Pac-Man. How funny would it be to dress this game up for Halloween? Very! 😀

In this photo tutorial you’ll learn step by step how to create this Halloween Pac-Man card.
Step 1: Use clear stamps to write the text “Trick or Treat” on a stamp press or acrylic block. Use a white or silver ink pad to ink your stamps well. Take a blank greeting card, unfold it and stamp the text onto it.
Step 2: First draw a pumpkin and ghost shape on a sheet of white paper. Keep it simple: use a circle as the base of both shapes. A compass can be very handy for this step. Draw two circles, one for the pumpkin and one for the ghost.
Inside the pumpkin shape you draw an eye, mouth with teeth and a stem. Draw straight lines on the left and right side of the circle for the ghost. Connect the two lines by drawing wavy lines.
Step 3: Cut out the shapes with a craft knife or scissors.
Step 4: Put the shapes on a sheet of colored paper. For example orange paper for the pumpkin. Green paper for the stem and blue for the ghost. Trace the shapes and cut them out.
Step 5: Attach the stem shape to the pumpkin shape by using glue or double-sided adhesive tape.
Step 6: Draw 2 small circles on white paper and cut them out. A small round object like a pen cap can be helpful.
Step 7: Draw two pupils with a blue marker or pen on the white circles. Then use glue or double-sided adhesive tape to stick the eyes on the ghost shape.
Step 8: Draw a candy shape on a sheet of colored paper. Cut out the shapes and stick them together with glue or double-sided adhesive tape. Note: I prefer using a small cutting mat for cutting out roundish shapes, because it’s easier to turn the paper around.
Step 9: Put foam pads on the backside of the three shapes. Then attach them onto the greeting card.
Your greeting card is ready for a spooky, but funny Halloween 😉
