Why should you start card making?
Greeting cards are a great way to express your creativity and make something personal for the recipient. Making things with your hands can also relieve stress, like baking cookies or card making.
Creative Life 2022
Last weekend I went to Creative Life. It’s a creative fair in the Netherlands where you can participate in different craft workshops and listen to interesting speakers. There are also food trucks and stalls that sell (handmade) items ranging from home decoration, jewelry to craft supplies.
Light blocker
I always record my video tutorials with studio lighting. In order for the lighting to work properly, I need the craft room to be completely dark. That way the exposure remains even in the videos.
Using cutting machines for cardmaking
The craft world knows many different craft supplies to make beautiful things. For example glue rollers, paper punches and glow in the dark markers. Are you familiar with cutting machines? You can think of it as a printer, but instead of ink it comes with a cutting blade. You can control the cutting machine via the computer and instruct it to cut something out of paper.

Last weekend I went to a creative fair called Creative Life. In brief: it’s an event organized by creatives for creatives. The fair takes place annually in the city of Utrecht, the Netherlands, in an old factory hall.
How to choose a sketchbook
